Too bad my numerous Trendmasters Gigan figures are in storage in another county, so it'll be awhile before I have the chance to post them.

Meanwhile, here's one of the few I have available at home, the Bandai Creations version:

Oh boy! My favorite! I should have quite a few to post this week... we'll start with my absolute favorite of my favorite:

X-Plus 25 cm

I love the level of detail on this figure

Also... MekaGojira3k, thats an amazing picture... i feel like i don't deserve highly articulated figures since i never think to pose them in such ways

Yeah that 25cm X-Plus is my favorite Gigan figure as well.

Ooh, Gigan. One of my favorite Godzilla villains, right up there with Showa Ghidorah and Showa MechaGodzilla. Below is the metallic variant of Gigabrain's spectacular ten inch Gigan '73 (based on the suit built for Megalon). Below it is the dynamically posed Iwakura Gigan '72 candy toy (about 3 inches or so).

here is a variant of one of the figures canofhumdingers just posted... honestly i can't tell the difference between a 72 and 73 Gigan, i guess 73 is thinner and has bigger mandibles, but with stylized figures i think it is impossible to tell either of those... anyway here is the Gigabrain... I prefer the paint scheme canofhumdingers has but i like the sculpt, and i believe Jomei has one similar to this one but with red paint flecks

After looking at all these, I think Gigan is one of the coolest looking Godzilla enemies.

I don't quite think the Gigan update was better than the FW one, especially not the 10 Inch Gigan, but I do like the toy and its probably one of the reasons I love the character so much.

As a child I had like 3 6 inch Gigans. People kept buying me the same toy, but I kept opening them because my brother just liked to break toys as a child. RIP a number of my Trendmaster toys.

And here is another Marmit... this one is a bit odd, it is hollow with a plug in the bottom, so i guess you could hide your stash in it... if you're in to that kind of thing... but check out that tail!

I often "joke" about how i tell Mrs Klen7 that i am buying my G toys for the little one... well i set out the Iwakura mini Bullmarks for my daughter to play with (back before she could crawl or had teeth or anything...) so i set them all standing up and she picked up Gigan by his wings and with a flying swooping motion knocked over Godzilla with the buzz saw just like in the movie!!! i was so excited that i ran and got the movie camera... what i ended up capturing on video was a few minutes of me trying to keep my daughter from chewing on Mothra's wings... that magical moment was over, but at least i have the memory
