At this point, only Bandai can save us when it comes to Otachi. I don't think NECA is going to make one...>_>

Finally got my C.Tango and C.Alpha. here is a size comparison for the figures. (They aren't all to scale from my perspective).

So, some news from NECA.
Scunner and Axehead will NOT be considered series 4. They are now referred to as "standalone deluxe kaiju". Both out in the summer. Scunner in June and Axhehead in late summer, so perhaps August.

No, Striker and Crimson aren't getting 2.0s. They're just getting re-released. Nothing new to them.

I hope "deluxe" doesn't indicate a change in scale.
Nice pictures

Well, Scunner is technically bigger than Knifehead. So it would be consistent with the movie at least. I wouldn't mind.

I'd be OK if they maintained scale, but they didn't maintain scale between their two Knifehead releases already, so who knows what we'll get.

I'm really bummed out that I didn't grab a Leatherback, now I see them running for around $40-$50. My local Toys R Us only carried the series 1, where I was able to get knidehead. Honestly, I just want to see an Otachi and Slattern, maybe a Raiju too. But I'm considering just grabbing all the Kaiju I can so I don't regret it later.

Considering picking up Tresspasser and Cherno Alpha or maybe the new Gypsy when they release her, thoughts? Good figures or no? I just want one mech and one kaiju from the film.

I'm getting really tempted by the large scale Cherno Alpha. There's something about the clunkyness of the design that makes me want a big ole' version.
As far as Tresspasser, I don't like the design as much as Knifehead's, but his articulation is better. The design of that head allows for a lot more movement than Knifehead. It's one of the better and bigger kaiju releases.

Cherno is one of the few Jaegers I want a toy of, unless Tacit Ronin shows up (which I highly doubt).

I am sad to say that about a week ago I swung by my local Toys R Us to see if they had the Trespasser and new Knifehead, as they hadn't received any Pacific Rim figures since the series 1, only to find that they had all the Jaegers, but no Kaiju =(. It was straight out of a Christmas movie... a row of Jaegers, with empty slots under them, with all the price tags but no figures. But since we're on the subject of PR figures, JEEZ I really need to catch up. Has Leatherback always been $30, or is that just because I missed the initial release??

Just got Tresspasser and Cherno Alpha in the mail and holy "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" they're incredible. Excellent figures that have shot up to the top of my faves list. Won't be buying anymore from the line as these are my favorite kaiju and jaegar respectively but I'm SO glad I got them, and for the price point, wow! I mean, I own a lot of X Plus and yet I'm staring at these two all the time now.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you haven't picked them up already!!
