MUCH better than Knifehead, and MUCH bigger and heftier. I just wish he could look down. I hope this line continues
enough for us to get something like Otachi or Raiju. (CRAZY WISHFUL THINKING)

I went on an impulse hunt for Leatherback and Striker yesterday but came up dry. I want them, but I'm not going to pay the going scalp price.

And I knew Leatherback would be bigger than Knifehead, but I didn't expect THAT much bigger. Wow.

i would never double dip on Knifehead (my least favorite of the kaiju) but i like that the bumped up the size

The retooled Knifehead is beautiful. A damn shame we didn't get that first. But we're getting it now, so it's all good. Too bad they didn't show the sculpts of Cherno Alpha and Coyote Tango.

I'm not really digging the battle damage on Knifehead...the goo doesn't look right to me

The goo is a little excessive, but I think you get a better sense of the glowy blue color that way. I'm not a HUGE fan of the battle damage, but I'd really like a Knifehead closer to Leatherback and the upcoming Trespasser. Plus Knifehead is one of the designs from the film that I 100% adore.

I hope they make a variant without the battle damage. Maybe in another two pack down the line.

As for Otachi....I'm thinking the circumstances have changed for her.

When NECA revealed the new Knifehead and Trespasser, they gave us into about where the line was going.

They said that scale is important to them, and want to make the kaiju as big as humanely possible. This is why the kaijubwill be in their own assortment now, as deluxe figures. They also said that there are TWO, count em, TWO more kaiju in the works.

I think Otachi is coming.

Scunner is definitely more possible than ever because of the retooled body, that's for sure. But I'm hoping they take advantage of their commitment to scale now, and try to go above and beyond. Give us Onibaba or Raiju. Or better yet...Slattern...They still have a rich selection of Kaiju. I hope they go with making all new figures.

I just hope those last 2 aren't any type of retools, Scunner be damned. I love that kaiju, but his resemblance to Knifehead and Trespasser have lessened my want for him.

The two figures (that we know of coming after series 3) could very well be the end of the series. Depending on sales I guess. If they are, I want all new stuff.

I don't really like Scunner at all. I don't know why, it may be that he's just a retool of the Tresspasser/Knifehead body or whatever or that he doesn't really get to do anything.
