Do you attend local toy shows or conventions?

I ran across this site recently.
http://www.insidepitchpromotions.com

There are a ton of shows year round, all of which are about an hour to an hour and a half away for me. The closest I've ever gotten to one of these things is a Mexican flea market... and I did attend some Anime thing with my girlfriend in college... picked up a Gamera poster!
That's not true! I've gone to many a reptile show here in NC, SC, and a few in Texas. But that's something else, entirely... Gaboon vipers for $400 - HA!
Other than that, I have G-Fest '99 to point to.

So, do any of you go to these types of shows in your area? Do you browse around or do you know what you're looking for? I mean, who's to say what dealers are there? At least, they don't list them on this site.
Is it worth checking out on a weekend? I don't think I could justify driving 90 minutes for only this, but I'm out there from time to time.

It's not like I'm expecting to find rare Bandais or something, but there are a few things I could easily see popping up at one of these tables.

I hit a lot of toy/sci-fi shows usually in the Philly, Jersey, Delaware, and sometimes the NYCC show. Sometimes I go as a dealer, while others just to enjoy the show or hunt some hard to get items I'm looking for.

Usually with the bigger shows, I'll come across a good bit of Godzilla related stuff, and I'll usually haggle if I see something that I know is hard to come by.

I haven't been to a G-Fest, but that's something I would like to attend at some point.
