I love the McFarlane Dragons line. I have a pretty large collection of those in storage. I tried bringing them out, but there's no space. McFarlane is so detailed, but their stuff doesn't age well. Parts easily break or become warped. Mixed bag, since they're so cheap.

Actually, I've really big a big fan of the First4Figures line of gaming statues. It started out with the Fierce Deity Link, but the first one I was able to get was the Skull Kid. And I gotta say, this is still a favorite.

And they've put out some other great stuff.

Love that Wolf Link / Midna sculpture, and the upcoming Link and Epona looks amazing.

Kinda like X-Plus with video game characters, only you get a 6-month warning before you pay, and don't have to turn tricks to afford em. That's how we all do it, right? I'm not the only one?

First4Figures makes some nice stuff. I think they did the Metroid ones I saw awhile back too that looked real nice. I might've gotten a Samus Aran if I was there when they came out.

As far as my non-kaiju stuff, I'd only gotten into Sideshow's polystone TMNT statues: http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j143/ ... C03357.jpg

I wish there was more high-end Godzilla stuff like this. The price you pay for an X-Plus piece of frickin' vinyl, you can get an entire polystone statue at sideshow for the same price.

Lol. I hate Polystone. Chips far too easily and it's insanely heavy!!! Still, nice TNMT figures man

I collect Transformers. I also get some G.I. Joes and Star Wars figs (though those are few and far between)

I also like Gundam kits and have some Revoltechs (though there's a bunch of those in storage)

I think out of EVERYTHING (which is kaiju-related, by and large, and mostly gashapon), my favorite figure is the 2011 Pinkie Pie Christmas ornament. I don't collect Pony merch like many Bronies because I think most of it is positively hideous but this ornament was SO PERFECTLY ADORABLE that I just couldn't help myself. D:

And also this wonderful Gekiyellow:

Non-kaiju collection

Postby Kingboy D » Wed Jan 25, 2012 12:21 pm

Robot collector here. You can see a portion of my collection below. As to non-robot / non-kaiju figures, the only other things I have in my collection action figure-wise are the Thundarr the Barbarian figure set (damn, I loved that show as a kid!!), a Judge Death (I really need to add a Judge Dredd at the least), and a Spawn Interlink-6 set (no longer displayed). My wife collects pets. :?
