Kamacuras

This is something that's bugged me for a long time & I've never been able to figure out a reasonable answer. In Son of Godzilla (& thereby, Godzilla's Revenge) the three Kamacuras('s?) are clearly reddish with some dirty brownish orange highlights. So why is it that almost every time these guys are depicted in collectable form they are made in a light greenish-yellowish hue?!? From Iwakura candy toys to the standard bandai to even people building & painting their own model kits, it seems that far more often than not, the green coloring is chosen over the clearly screen accurate red! What gives!?!

And don't tell me I'm going color blind & can't tell green from red anymore, I have to get tested for that every year!

Good question, maybe the same reason Godzilla toys were almost always green even though he was gray before 2000.

The Marmit Parababies color scheme was faily accurate....I think they're some of the best, most underrated figures of the showa Kamakuras (by the way, Marmit also released these same figures with a green color scheme  )...
