Actually, all X-Plus figures I'm aware of come pre-painted. The resin statues do require some assembly, but nothing complicated. If your looking for big scale stuff, and are okay with kits, I would recommend looking for Paradise models. They have released some of the biggest Godzilla figures out there(Rodan with a 3 ft. wingspan, a Baragon that's almost 2 ft. tall, just to name a few) in fact, both of Marui's RC Godzilla's were made from Paradise kits. Hope this helps!

I've had that Ghidorah for a few years now, and I love it! Unfortunately, a little over 2 years ago, a house guest from hell was responsible for tipping over a shelf it was standing on. :x

Listening to his "oh, man, I'm so sorry, but I'll glue it back together, and it'll be as good as new" promises pretty much just got the laser beams from the eyes look from me.

No way in hell I let him touch it. It survived for the most part, but some of the more delicate features snapped off...horns, teeth, spikes. After some surgical restoration involving resin putty filling, reshaping, repainting and reinforcement (a metal rod inserted at a joint on one wing, it's in reasonably decent shape.

This guy was the brother of a manager at the company I was doing contract work for at the time.... it's funny, how some people just seem to play a certain role in life and everything they do or say conforms to that role. In this case..... LOSER. You try to do the right thing and help people, and with some, you end up having to cut your losses.

Back to that Ghidorah.... I would love to see a Planet X Saucer made in a size consistent with the statue, but not resin so much as vinyl and even something that lights up internally. I'd get three. 8-)
