Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

Hi there guys. I was really eager to get the Bandai Hyper Hobby GMK Godzilla exclusive. Always was a fan of the GMK godzilla suit. Movie was great too. Well anyways, i managed to get a friend of mine to visit a Mandarake store in Akihabara to fetch the exclusive magazine order figure for me.

This is what i got.



At first everything looked great and fine, but on closer inspection i noticed that the transparent vinyl was a bit more yellow than i expected. In fact it seemed a bit beer yellow.










I was expecting a figure that had transparent crystal coloured vinyl. Never expected this much yellow in those transparent parts. I'm looking into buying another Hyper hobby exclusive, but would like to ask whether my attempts to get a figure without the yellowing is possible? The figure is now close to 9 years old and i have heard that transparent vinyl does yellow as it ages.

I suspect that the figure i got from Tokyo was exposed to sunlight or heat by the previous owner. Do you guys see the same problem i see in my figure? Or is this a common unavoidable thing that comes with owning older figures like this?

Some feedback would be nice.

Dude, be happy with it. I just pulled my crystal GMK out and he's close to GMS Ghidorah gold.
Keep em out of sunlight, and if you pack them away, use high quality bags and paper. Also, don't keep them in sh*t plastic storage boxes... IT HURTS SO MUCH!!!!

I gotta find my HH GMK, now... I hope he's okay.
