The three light assemblies are controlled by impact-sensitive switches. You could try knocking the top area extra hard but if it started up on its own then that top circuit might have shorted out.

It will stop blinking eventually

So I shipped out my last CCP Meltdown Godzilla '95 this week. And now my customer reports that one of the LED light assemblies came loose in shipment likely due to the glue softening with the very hot weather.

Anybody ever have to change out the batteries in this G'95 or some other CCP figure? Do you just heat up one of the leg joints to gain access to the lights? The loose light assembly probably just needs a dab of clear silicone glue to resecure it.

MekaGojira3k, did you ever open up your figure to check out that flaky light?

I would be the aforementioned customer whose CCP Goji's light came loose :p

The only limbs that come off on this guy are the legs and the light I need to get to is in the chest. There's a piece of plastic in the middle of the figure that holds the light in the chest that blocks any access to it from the leg (if you could even reach it from there). I can't see any other way of getting to it. It looks like you *might* be able to finagle the inner piece out through the leg hole, but I don't want to mess with it until I know for sure what I should do.

I can reach all of the other lights easily, but of course it was the chest light that had to come loose. yeesh!

I took a couple of different pictures of the inside from different angles.

the lights are glued into that piece, but the piece itself isn't glued to anything. and I'm sad to say the fins are molded into the body. so I guess they must have shoved that piece up through one of the legs at some point.

it's really hard to get a grip on it and the widest part of it is a bit wider than the leg hole. it's also stuck very snugly in the chest area.
