I talked to my dealer yesterday and said he actually had to call his source in Japan by phone on these Bandai figures cause he didn't understand what the e-mail my dealer sent meant and actually had no idea about Bandai figures exclusive to these DVD box sets, which is funny cause this source is one of the biggest toy dealers in Japan. Another funny thing is the source asked my dealer if I was the one that was interested in these? Of course!
While the source in Japan is going to look into it, my dealer feels he can get the figures without the DVDs. That just tells me he's going to get the figures for me, but not mean the figures can be bought without the DVD set, for this source is known for opening sets, for example, the Bandai Complete Works, and collecting the Chase figures and selling a set with the chase figures at a higher price.
At this point, I probably won't hear anything untill my dealer actually receives the figures, if he does, and then he'll give me prices and probably won't know if he can get more since this is just my order.
I have been PM by a few collectors about getting them these figures, primarily the G84. My dealer only does conventions and does not deal with mail orders. Even if he does get more of these figures, they will be bought up by his customers. I'm not a dealer, but there are those that will be happy to try to get these figures and sell them to you. I suggest you try those sources.
