Bandai Showa Mothra Figure

Postby Flame of Udin » Sun May 18, 2008 7:51 pm

Does anybody have any pictures of the Bandai Showa Mothra Adult out of the box? I have never actually seen the figure outside of it's box with the exception of some old, fuzzy Bandai ads from 1992. Did it come with a stand as the other Mothra/Battra figures did?

I'm not really in much of a mood to remove mine from the box at the moment but no it didn't come with a stand.

OK I just mis-read the post.... I do have the figure outside of the box so I'll see if I can get a pic. And no, this one doesn't have a stand which would have been nice if it did.

Unfortunately as you know this figure is not as big as the other Mothra Figures Bandai did at the time. They decided to make it the 6 " type scale. I wish they would have done it Like the SOS Vinyl one. Also it does not have much detail at all. It contains 4 parts, Head Body, and 2 wings. Legs are molded bumps. Color is nice but that’s all it got going for it. We really need a nice 6" Vinyl Showa Mothra and Showa Ghidorah. It’s a shame those were not included in the 50th Aniv. Box Oh well.

Alright I finally got to taking the pics and uploading them to the site.
Since the gallery is still under construction, I've uploaded them to the forums:
