New Toy Purchases part 2

As far as I can tell Sunguts mostly sells at festivals (vinyl toy makers can buy one-day Japan only licenses to sell official merch at shows), so quantities are usually fairly limited and if they are successful you can expect to see the same figure with a different paint scheme at the next festival. As far as i can tell they have only done the GMK crew and Showa Baragon for Toho, and Gamera, Gyaos and Guiron (Just the Gs) for Daiei. They come up for sale on YAJ or Mandarake regularly, but if you are looking for a specific variant its usually pretty tough to find. At this point they mostly do Kitaro related figures (and some original characters). Showa Baragon was new a figure in 2015, so I hope that means good things for continued Toho (Showa) characters.

This guy is awesome! Bigger than i expected at about 9". Easily in my top 3 Gamera figures and number 1 Showa Gamera figure.

Bandai 6" Kingsaurus III, Jet Jaguar vs. Megalon Microman Set, CCP Burning Godzilla.


And I've finished the Iwakura Bullmark Legends series #1. These are, without a doubt, the biggest wastes of money I ever wasted money on. They're so stupid looking that I just had to have them. I do like the MechaGodzilla and Megalon sculpts. I'd get full size ones of them if their colors didn't suck in bigger scales.

Got a good handful of other things too. Namely some assorted Ultra-related figures and smaller stuff.

i picked up this BIG boy from Flossies. It's huge. taller than the Gigantic Desugoji. I just love the profile and the face. This jumped right into my top 10.

It's an online store. It's run by a Godzilla fan and mostly stocks Diamond/Previews releases (X-plus, the occasional Vinyl Wars release of Marmit, etc). Their prices are good, but stock and selection are low. This figure was $40 less at Flossie's than it was at Entertainment Earth.

Marusan Ang 55' and G 55' Looking at pictures online, I wasn't impressed with the G 55' but in person it is a much cooler figure than I anticipated. Also the Ang 55' is probably the coolest stylized figure of Anguirus there is!
