Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

I thought I saw an ad for a light-up Yuji Sakai sculpt of the 1995 Burning Godzilla figure a few months back but I'm not sure if that is indeed what it was.

Anyone know anything about this? It might not have been a Sakai sculpt, but it definitely had a light inside (which the X-Plus version really should have had).

I'm almost positive your thinking of the new CCP Burning Godzilla figure.

Cool figure, but the CCP isn't the one. The design didn't match the movie suit, it was a move radical pointy design, like Sakai's original G2000 design. That's what made me think it was a Sakai sculpt.

if it is that one, it's not burning godzilla, but a model kit based on the poster art for Godzilla 1985. here's some more pics:


well, this is not the original japanese poster, but it's the first thing i was able to find featuring that painting.

It is a Model Kit.This Light-up Version is just for Convention WF etc.

that's neat, i haven't seen that one before. it looks like it's based off the Godzilla vs Destroyer poster art...
