Ahhh, Baragon. The subject of the very first round of the Vinyl Figure Awards, back when I made the mistake of making it a write-in only poll. Despite the fact that there weren't as many votes as there would be for later rounds, the winners were quite diverse, and there was even a tie for second place. So that's said, lets meet last years champions...


The Champions:


Bandai's classic Baragon figure from 1992
Previous standing: first place



Popy's underrated Baragon figure from 1978, seen here in two color versions
Previous standing: second place (tie)



Marmit's Monster Heaven Baragon, released in 2004
Previous standing: second place (tie)



The final champion was Marmit's crawling Para Baby Baragon from 2002
Previous standing: third place


The Challengers:


Bullmark's giant sized figure line was relatively short-lived, but they were able to put out this big Baragon in 1971.



Marmit released two Baragon figures in their Para Baby line, this being the standing version released in 2001.

I believe last time I voted for the Monster Heaven Baragon, but this time I have to vote for the giant Bullmark. It's such an awesome toy and one I've wanted for a very long time.

I see the Bandai taking first again though. At least the Bandai Museum figure never made it to the top three last time. Don't need to worry about that one right, Ebirahsmeg? LOL

Congrats to all the winners of the thirty eighth round, who all recieve special badges of honor: black Godzilla for third place, silver Mechagodzilla for second place and gold Ghidora for first place!

Interesting.. Results were just about identical to last time. Heh.
