Bandai figure distribution

I should probably be asking the company itself, but maybe some of you might know the answers.
How long does it take for new figure releases to go from the manufacturer to the distributor (like, from Bandai to TemptingToys or ClawMark)?
How long do the figures usually last on the shelves (this is more for stores in Japan)?
I know someone had a picture of a wall-full of Godzilla/Ultraman figures from a Japanese Toys 'R' Us, but I don't know where it went.

But if any of you know any answers, that'd be awesome.

Clawmark and the like should be ordering from a second-party wholesale distributor and probably not from Bandai itself. Turnaround's going to vary on how quickly and how much is being shipped, but I'd say about two weeks for basic mainline stuff like vinyls. Oh, and of course, the West Coast is going to get such things the easiest.

How long a toy lasts on store shelves depends on the particular toy. Last time I saw pics from a Japanese TRU, there was still Ultraman Cosmos and Nexus stuff on the racks! Certain Godzilla figures - think Gigan 2005 - would be impossible to find, but guys like X-Seijin are a different matter. If I had to guess what'd be on most shelves, probably all the pink-tag stuff (with Hedorah gone or in low quantities) and maybe one or two very unpopular shelfwarmers. Not likely any 8" stuff, that'd be in the smaller specialty shops at this point, except maybe a scarred Kiryu-Goji or FW Mothra or something.
