Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

Apparently it is some large, vinyl Zilla figure that is 50cm (20") tall and 97cm (38") long. Looks pretty neat.
Just had never seen nor heard of it before. Dunno if it has been repainted, either. Anyone got anything?

Guy is also trying to sell a bootleg Bronze for about $100, so I guess that's a red flag right there, too.

The only Trendmasters Zilla figure in CT is the Ultimate, which I suppose this could be based on, but I dunno. I think there was one that was smaller than the Ultimate, but larger than the common 6/8" guys, not sure.

It's just odd to see a Zilla bootleg released now of all times, but it's too big to fill that FW hole that might have made it appealing to some collectors.

The head sorta looks like it could have been based off one of the Resaurus puppets but the body doesn't look familiar, unless it's based of the the supa dupa big limited edition puppet which I do not have and am not familiar with...

It's definitely not the Trendmasters Ultimate Godzilla in either head or body.

Legit or not, that thing is cool-looking. That color scheme would really work for Zilla in a movie.

While the subject is up, how much might a Trendmasters Ultimate Zilla '98 go for if I were to eBay it?

BH: Through a fluke I ended up with 2 and paid around 15-20 each for my Ultimate Godzillas, so possibly not too much, but I have seen them go for much more. A word of advice, if you do sell it DO NOT try to disassemble it because both of mine were damaged because of the sellers trying to take them apart, one's tail was broken off at the joint and the other's leg wouldn't stay in till I rebuilt up the peg with glue and paint.
