Hmmm, I figured last year's ornament would end up being a "one shot wonder", maybe collecting Godzilla Christmas ornaments will become a new tradition for us fans each year, huh? :dunno: Looks and sounds like it will be pretty cool, but I think last year's ornament is going to end up being a pretty tough act to follow!

The 2006 ornaments are now on the Carlton Cards website. has the Godzilla and Kong ornaments, but only one of each (also note that they're both listed as King Kong pieces). $18.75 each.

I picked up one of these recently. It's awesome but it's not as impressive as last years. It's made of a lighter material and lacks detail. I can't wait to see what next year has in store.

I picked this year's ornament up a week or two ago.
-As with last year's ornament, it's a really nice sculpt [I passed on the King Kong ornament as it didn't look as nicely crafted].
-The sound is clear and easily heard, though it does not light-up like last year's ornament.
-I'd have to check to be certain, but I believe the only portion of Godzilla that moves are his hands. Its an interesting addition, but I think I would rather have had another light-up feature instead.
-The Kaiju pictures around the base are all from from the Heisei/Versus series except for one picture of Megaguirus.
Overall, I found it to be a nice ornament and worth picking up if you're interested.
