The arms, the legs, and the spikes are all completely off. I honestly can't believe Neca would release a figure this bad. It's horrible.

Best thing you all can do is ask NECA to do a 2.0 version like they did with Gypsy Danger. Though I would think the first G 85 needs to sell decently for them to be willing to do a 2.0.

Me thinks you guys need to watch the movie again to get a fresh view on the Godzilla suit (well, like all 3 of them since it seems like there are 3 different versions in the movie). The NECA toy is accurate. It isn't perfect, but we won't get a perfect suit until there is a MonsterArts version.

Kain, I've been watching G85 since sometime in 1986/87. I've seen it many, many times and have plenty of books with pictures of the suit.

Sorry man, that figure is NOT accurate. The feet and fins especially, are completely off and ludicrously undersized. The proportions of the entire thing are a mess.

I guarantee you if this was a figure of a suit that was more easily available in toy form and wasn't a cheap $20, people would be a HELL of a lot harder on it. As it stands, most of the positives I keep hearing is that it's cheap and that the '84 Godzilla isn't a common suit when it comes to figures and toys.

If this same sculpt appeared on a MonsterArts, X-Plus or even an affordable Bandai Japan vinyl I guarantee people would be mercilessly tearing the toy to shreds. But it's amazing what people are willing to forgive when a figure is cheap and easily available in this country. And in this figures' case, it's an articulated version of a popular yet rarely marketed Godzilla design.

My bro got me the 85 for an early Christmas present. Real nice of him. HAHA!

I must say...it looks much better in person than all the photos from the past events and even NECAs "white backgrounding" of the figure. I really, really like it! The elongated toe nails are the only real stand out. I got to pick over those on the shelf, and selected the one with the best teeth. Which it had some variations on all of them. Though mine seems to have the slimmer, more movie suit like teeth. There were some that for whatever reason had teeth that looked a little more glaring. I also was trying to make sure there was no underbite one on the one I got. I did notice that the fang on the right side seems a bit larger than the left. The middle large fin is also not fully green painted on one side, but it looks real cool. I was thinking it would be a bit larger based on the photos from the events, but it's cool. Glad to have it. My favorite Goji.

Just a couple of quick pics, and really crude photo effect work.

Most of the inaccuracies in this figure, from what I've seen online, I can deal with. Yeah there are some odd proportions in the figure, but it's good enough. One can only hope that it sells well and down the line they come out with a Godzilla 1985 2.0 like they have with Knifehead and Gipsy Danger.

That's because I'm mimicking the picture. I'm not trying to hide anything. However, you are saying the suit is not even remotely accurate when he clearly looks just like the suit on Toho's own BD. If you just don't like it, then hey, you don't have to like it. You don't need to justify a reason to hate it and then try to convince people why they should hate it. My picture clearly shows you are wrong. No one is saying the suit is 100% accurate or is issue free, but it is 84% accurate. :D

That's the worst Baragon I've ever seen and I'm not giving NECA any of my money.

Okay, show me a better 100% movie accurate, fully posseable Godzilla 84 toy.

Enough with the nitpicking.
