how the heck did i miss this thread for this long??? Wow! These are neat! From the pics, i think the only one i might like MORE than the japanese counterpart is Destroyer. However, the G2000 looks really cool too. Looks almost like a cross between the 12 inch sakai maquette figure banpresto put out & the original bandai japan figure. I'll just have to see the G'68 & hedorah in person before i can pass judgement on them. So far i've only bought a handful of the bandai USA figures (gigan '72, FW Gigan & FW Godzilla) as i tend to agree with some others here; the Japanese versions are generally superior. But that doesn't stop me from liking these figures for what they are, i just can't buy everything that comes out so i tend to only get the version i like the best, no matter what its country of origin.

I wonder if the selection of Godzilla 2000 (not to mention the aggressive pose) in this fourth series has anything to do with Godzilla Unleashed coming out in a few weeks. If so, I wonder why all four figures aren't ones from the game. Wouldn't it have been something if they made a figure for the kaiju that was created for the game?
