X-Plus does made to order runs. So the number made is very close to the number preordered. If you don't preorder you are buying from some one/company that did.

On another note, what has the consensus been on the Yuji Sakai G'89? I don't normally get the 30cm releases, but it seemed like this one was priced a bit higher than normal. The promo shots were a bit dark.

i'd probably pick up a 25cm G'54 if they made it.

They have done 2 or 3 reissues of the 30cm G'54 already including a US release through Diamond, so it might be a while before you see that one again

I like the poses and in some cases the detailing better with the 25cm's.

Anyone here looking for the GBG ric? I might actually sell mine.

The annoying thing with x plus is that they don't necessarily complete a line of monsters in each scale. We have Titano and an MG in the 30cm but no Godzilla. We have MG and Godzilla in 25cm but no Titano.

I love the series, but I do wish we could see a completed line of movies from the movie (like we now have coming with DAM and already have with GvsMegalon). It's a minor quip, I suppose.

Last i heard the Gigantic G'95 was delayed until late August. Has anyone heard any updates as to when the standard release will start shipping?

Hobby Link Jaoan is taking a ton of flack right now for their incredibly high shipping price on the GBG. Apparently they don't use EMS for large figures and the shipping is around $250 bucks (!!!). That's just stupid. Several people on FB are gonna cancel their order because of the high cost. Considering AmiAmi uses EMS and shipping was roughly $110 bucks, there is absolutely no reason for HLJ to charge $150 more than what a competitor would charge. One guy said he bought 2 Gigantic 95's and paid LESS than what HLJ charges for one.

They've already lost my business. I'll never buy from them if shipping is that expensive. That's ridiculous...shipping as 2/3 of what the figure costs.

Looks like they are doing a lottery for Gigantic GMK figures at 17000 Yen.

There is also a comment about Super Mechagodzilla, but i am not sure if that is a teaser or an exhibit they want to see....

^ I think those are kits...

Anyway, it turns out that hobby link will ship ems if you ask then to, the cost is much less than 250.

i wonder how many people paid for the more expensive shipping... and how many people canceled their orders..

I typically use Hobby Search, but since they dont carry the Gigantic line i went with Ami Ami this time, guess i picked correctly

The wait was totally worth it for this guy. Godzilla is much heavier than I expected. Of course, what else can one expect from a huge vinyl figure stuffed with foam. Rich Eso is right, the vinyl's smell is very strong and unique on this figure. You don't even have to lean close enough to pick up the scent.

Just ordered G'64 30cm from Amazon as my intro into X-plus vinyls. I have all the resin statues already. Next month will be G'68, Hedorah, and G'62. I believe I'll stick with the Showa figures (minus G'55) only.

Probably but I sure wish Diamond was releasing reissues of the 25cm's already done (which will not happen). I much prefer them over the 30cm's currently on pre-order right now. I think the sculpts are better and would fit better on the shelves.

Overall i agree, but the i greatly prefer the 30cm G'62 over the 25cm...and the 30cm G'64 is pretty much perfection. Also Hedorah i prefer in 30cm... but overall 25cm for me.
