Dorsal spines have a lot of space between them, but I think the design has that too..

Sold! I like it!

Not bad! I'm finally excited for something in this line again.

The complaining has already started and that's amusing also.

Looks just fine to me. I'm starting a piggy bank for July tonight.

Uh, why does he have a huge gap in his back? Please tell me that is only due to the way he is posed and it isn't like the 64 one. That aside, I am drooling right now.

That is mighty tempting but if there are any signs of G'16 being a SHMA... gotta wait and find out...

I need to see the movie and the suit in action before I can decide if I want to spend $75ish on it.

Looking forward to the Monsterarts GMK Godzilla figure. Hopefully, the gap isn't as jarring as the one on the '64 Godzilla. I'm hoping with the new movie coming out later this year, it might rev up the line again (not counting zero figures).

Anyway, did some more rearranging on the collection, and wanted to do a reshoot on the '64 Godzilla. It's still one of my favorite sculpts from Yuji Sakai!

Now I usually have a hard time photographing this figure, as the clear lens that cover each eye tend to look odd or off depending on the lighting. I think I was able to get the eyes to look decent in the shots. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Does the GMK Godzilla come with any accessories? I haven't seen any in the photos that have been released.

My Ghidorah special color version arrived yesterday. What an eye-popping piece. I had made this pre-order way back and wasn't aware that it came with a flight stand so that was quite a pleasant surprise. It also helps solve a shelf space issue I was having. The wings seem fine, not loose or anything. Not sure what to look for there though. There were two minor paint nicks on the inside right wing, but only a obsessive nerd like me would notice.

I don't understand the $80 price tag for him not having accessories, especially since the yen has dropped considerably in the last two years. He shouldn't be more than $65-70.

It's because it's web exclusive is why it's so much plus it's the biggest Godzilla in the line to date he's quite a bit bigger than the other Godzillas in the line.
