This whole line seems to be QC roulette. At first I thought it was people being hyper sensitive, but I've gotten 2 figures that have had issues since then, which is kind of obnoxious considering the price tags.

Yes I've been getting them through Amazon. I know it's partially not their fault but at the same time three duds in a row?

I guess I've been blessed by only having got a Rebirth with loose torso and a warehouse mistake sending me SpaceGodzilla instead of Moguera twice.

Off all of the figures that I've bought, the only ones that had issues were:

Heisei MechaGodzilla's foot comes off and the cap seems to be in a different shape.
Burning Godzilla was split from the waste but it was an easy fix.

Out of the 20 that I bought, those two were the only ones that had issues with. Even my King Ghidorah was one of the first issued one and didn't have the broken wing problem that everyone seems to have. Sadly while my luck for getting good figures are a little better than most, my luck in finding them and purchasing them is a different story. Had so many chances to buy the G2k back when it came out but didn't do it. Now, I'm just waiting for the repaint and it will be the last monsterarts for me this year.

This probably belongs in a "Hybrid's a moron" thread, but a few months ago I lost my job and began selling my collection off. Then I started a new job and the "seller's remorse" set in...so I literally rebought almost everything that I sold via ebay and other sites. I lucked out, because I basically broke even. I gave up a few figures I originally had and added MKG, Gamera, and the first version of Godzilla.

I've spoken to a few people and seller's remorse is something many of them have experienced. I never should have sold that stuff to begin with, but I'm glad I got most of it back.

All that said, I'm actually glad there are no additional releases I need between now and September. I can skip the spitfire G14, the G2K reissue, and I already have Rebirth.

I would totally regret the need to ever sell off anything in my collection. That's why it has never happened. I do have some movie posters from the 60's and 70's that at some point I should sell simply because I have no where to put them.

Yeah, I'm seriously considering putting my Ghidorah on the chopping block to get the funds/space for MKG. But at the same time, I kind of don't want to let him go. I feel so torn.

I really want Kiryu Goji, SOS or Showa Mothra, Showa MechaG, 68 Anguirus, 74 King Ceasar, 56 Rodan, 65 Ghidorah, Titanosaurus, and a new 64 Godzilla.

MKG came today.

First off, the box is huge. It was well packaged, but upon opening it the right jaw came off...easily fixable, still pretty annoying.

This figure is fragile - wings included. Though the hinge is better than King Ghidorah's, I'd still be leary of messing with them too much. The hinge moves up and down, and one of mine is a tad loose and doesn't stay in place. The Godzilla grip is cool, but I won't be messing with me due to space limitations. I could really care less about the Dorats - I think their inclusion is really stupid and unnecessary. Tamashii should have given us more beams instead.

Overall, cool figure...but typical SHMA issues (fragile).

Really would have liked the triple laser over the dorats, though I have an idea of what to do with them with my other figures.

Whenever and if I ever get this mofo.

I wonder if Can Of Beams will do their take on the triple laser...

Underwhelming indeed. It's a kind of mediocre figure to begin with, IMO.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I mean, if you missed the original release, you might like this repaint. I think the repaint looks crappy and the beam is stupid looking...

I also have the original, so this is an instant skip for me.

Well all the people begging for Showa got it but I'm sure not what they expected. its almost like they are running down the clock on 2016 putting out any kind of repaint and reissue until they can put out new stuff to cash in on the new film.

I think just about everyone would have preferred a 6" version with a new articulation scheme. Yuji Sakai's unarticulated prototype is excellent, and all of the figure's aesthetic problems can be traced to those ugly seams.
