Regulon and Seabozu join my modest collection.

Ultraman convincing Seabozu to return to the deep of space...

~~removed 4th pic for those who may not be totally familiar with the Ultraman 1966 tv show

The Ultramonster collection is out of control. And this is just stuff made before 1997.

Hey all. I think I registered a long time ago, been inactive, and just reactivated my account. Just looking over some old collection pics from you guys and gals. Some real nice collections. Legion, yours is amazing. Glad you kept this thread going over time.

I thought I'd add my setup since I just redid it all this weekend. I really need to tinker some more and move a few pieces, but overall, this is the general layout. I have some diecast kaiju stuff in another area of my house (with my robot collection), so that is not shown here.

It's rare to see a collection that's relatively free of the same Bandai toys (both Japanese and American) that every collector and his mother seem to have. Terrific mix of Toho and Tsuburaya as well. Beautiful stuff.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I haven't been collecting this stuff too long. I started about 3 years ago, which I find kind of surprising. I've been a serious Japanese robot collector for many years, but I grew up watching Godzilla movies, and the monsters have always been special to me. With my collecting habits, I should have started earlier. C'est la vie.

The majority of my collection is newer vinyl, though I have some vintage Bullmarks mixed in, and some 1992 reissues too. I prefer the classic Marusan and Bullmark styles, and I am a big fan of M1Go's stuff. There's some newer manufacturers who make toys in the spirit of the vintage ones, like Max Toy Co. The two brown ones by the Battinger Jumbo are some examples.

I do own some newer Bandai toys, but these I bought for my kids. That way, they keep their hands off of my stuff. Or at least that was the theory! ;) No disrespect intended to collectors of these toys. I just prefer a different, more fanciful style in general.

Anyway, I'm glad to be a part of this forum, and I hope to see many other collections posted here.

Oh, and if anyone wants to see something up close, let me know. I'd be glad to post more photos.

So Legion, where on the Island are you? I grew up in Commack and also lived in East Northport and Deer Park. I only moved to South Florida (where I am now) about 8 years ago.
