Man, I hope they stay clear of GMK Ghidorah for as long as possible. Showa Ghidorah or Grand Ghidorah, or Desghidorah would make for really awesome Monsterarts though.

Hey, a Kaiser Ghidorah would be cool too. GMK Ghidorah though, is such weaksauce. That face... that....shortness... That EVERYTHING.

There's not enough original King Ghidorah's out there. To many Heisei's and GMK Ghidorah's which I deplore.

So overall its best to avoid G14 this time around then.

Perhaps, unless you had the chance to see one in person or inspect and purchase someone's secondhand and knew what you were getting. There's also the possibility of getting one from Amazon and exchanging it if the one you got looked like crap, but how many times would one have to do that before encountering a good-looking head?

The problem is, Showa Ghidorah would not fit with the Heisei and Millennium figures since he would be scaled for Godzilla 64.

^No, Kain's in the boat of wanting all Godzilla related shma figures from other eras to scale with one another. He's just stating it would be a shame that Showa Ghidorah won't be scaled to the Heisei monsters, but rather G64.

Although, relative scaling in mind, wouldn't Showa KG be as big as the Heisei figure? It's my understanding that it was significantly larger than Godzilla in the showa films.

If they last that long. Lots of people are buying 2-3 duplicates of those sets, the price is fairly acceptable being a web exclusive, and that Bluefin is getting a limited supply. Just some food for thought- they may or may not stick around till Christmas.

I think when it comes to scaling, I think Titanosaurus would make for an interesting figure. This is because he is significantly taller than Godzilla 64, and would probably scale nicely against Millennium and Heisei figures.

Heisei Ghidorah has a decent design, though I think Grand Ghidorah outshines it in every aspect in terms of design. Its visually closer to Showa Ghidorah's crown of horns.

I guess what annoys me of Heisei Ghidorah is turning his otherworldly cackle into a generic remixed Rodan Roar.

Ah, much nicer.

That seems like a question better suited for the Godzilla 2 thread. After all, I can make my toys sound like whatever I want, up to and including a series of farts. :P
