You'll just have to wait for a re-issue, or the 2018 version. They screwed up on Big Chap pretty bad and did nothing about it, it's likely you'll see the same thing with this release.

And it seems like I misplaced the text for the pics it went with.

On the subject of Gamera, does anyone think the Gamera line will go beyond Gamera? Gyaos even? Legion doesn't seem impossible. Probably kinda pricey and bothersome to Tamashii's planners.

Gamera always seemed like an inevitability when it came to this line.

Expanding upon stuff is always cool. I wonder though if they'll really go into stuff like Smaug (yargh...). Reminds me of SHFiguarts superheroes. Kamen Rider is kind of the main thing, even if its expanded to just about everything (EVEN THE KING OF POP). Godzilla is this line's Kamen Rider, though the well is a lot less deeper (but still very rich).

I began collecting this line earlier this year with Godzilla 2000: Millennium, which is a stellar figure. At this point I'm just waiting for Showa monsters, particularly King Ghidorah, Anguirus and Mechagodzilla.

Gamera looks great, but $90 is really pushing it for a 6" figure IMO.

You could have an argument with Gigan, and even Kiryu and that's a maybe since it's a limited production run and economics says things produced in smaller numbers are always going to be more expensive, but where do you get at King Ghidorah being $75? :|

Gamera does seem closer to $75, but I don't think a price like $85 is unfair either looking at all the accessories it comes with.

On a side note, seeing the DC Figuarts for Injustice, I'm really hoping they make a Figuarts Deathstroke... All of Mattel's figures are either undersized, oversized or have the same crappy T-Crotches Mattel's been known for.

Godzilla 2000 did cost $75. Waiting long enough that it went out of print isn't Bandai's fault.

MSRP or no, Gigan can be found all over the place for $75-85. Or hell, $55 and Japanese shipping if one got him from HLJ's last sale.

And King Ghidorah is enormous and horribly unwieldy to ship anywhere, it's no surprise that it never ended up much more cheap than the hot second it was $87 on Amazon. I never got it myself because of its price and obviously won't own it without some lucky find anytime soon, but I'd jump on a $100 reissue instantly if Bandai made it happen.

Maybe I just have a different perspective because I've still yet to pay more than $90 for a MonsterArts of any kind (even the larvae). That relative frugality bit me in the rear because I never got KG, I'm still missing Destoroyah and MKG is only preordered because of Amazon's current discount and might also get canceled, but it's kept me from becoming frustrated with the line.

New promo pics of the Gamera MA. The height on it is definitely bigger than what Revoltech did with their Gameras. The height of 140 MM puts it in the height range of the older SH Figuarts Kamen Rider figures.

(@ Naruto65) well if they do the Gamera 1967 figure also, then I guess it will look good to pose it fighting the Godzilla 1964 figure.

So I'm looking at place to pick up G14. And Anime-Island seems to have a good price but I've heard people say to shy away from that place. What are people's take on the site that have used or know of other who have?

Recently Anime Island has been having some great deals when it comes to pre-ordering figures. The damning part about doing business with them is that they're one of the last retailers to receive stock from Bluefin. So you could potentially wait a week or two once figures start hitting shelves in CA. Nevertheless, if you are a penny pincher and don't mind waiting, buy through them, especially for the most recently listed items like Kiryu, MKG, Battra & Mothra Larva Set, G14, & G Adult Jr.

I have 4 sets of the effects stuff pre-ordered from them from back in July when they were offering free shipping on all pre-orders. Managed to grab them for $21-25 a piece.

ALTERNATELY, if you find someone that will price match Anime Island, I recommend doing that as that other business will likely get it to you faster.
