Well, little that I know, I have a bunch of Super 7 issues and I was quite surprised that I have this issue with the Bandai Tag article. This was the first time reading it. Very good article. I like the checklist, but I was most surprised by the errors and misinformation I found in the article.
The biggest error is in the 1988 tag section. The text clearly mentions only a couple of reissues were done in 1988, yet the checklist indicates there's a Baragon, Space Godzilla, and Destroyah. I find it hard to believe no one caught this, even at the Super 7 end. This gives me the impression that Baragon, Space Godzilla, and Destroyah figures was released in 1988, yet Space Godzilla and Destroyah didn't appear in a Godzilla film till 94' and 95' respectfully.
There's a bit of misinformation in the 1989-1992 section when it was mentioned in the text that "new releases in 89' were reissued with the 92' tags, though the Godzilla 64, King Ghidrah, and MechaGodzilla were not" that's not accurate because Godzilla 64 and MechaGodzilla 74 were reissued with 92' tags. I know because I have these figures with 92' tags. So far, I'm only aware of the King Ghidrah not being reissued in 92'.
Not really an error, but in the 1991-1994 section, Mothra Larva 1961 is included in the checklist, yet newer collectors might not be aware that this figure is a reissue of the Great Monster Series Mothra Larva 61 and should have been mentioned in the article that this is a Large Scale figure.
While there are several mentions of the Gold and Silver Toho license stickers, I'm surprised it wasn't explained in the article the meaning of the differences between the Gold and Silver stickers.
I was disappointed that no coverage was given the the Godzilla 6inch series, at least the "Godzilla Island" tags. Maybe a "Part 2" series is in the works or has been completed. I'd like to see it.
