For a while I've wanted a nice, big version of the 1968-72 Godzilla that wasn't part of a stylized Marmit line. Same goes for the 1965-66 suit. I discovered less than a month ago at that KaijuKits.com site that Marmit made kits of the 1972 and 1966 Godzillas that completely slipped past me. I figured I'd never get these two, either in kit form or built-up, assuming they even did built-up versions of these.

Well this past week I found and purchased both of them on ebay! Isn't it funny how life works? I'm going to commission our own John Groff to build these guys for me. I'd like for them to retain the toy-like look they have in the photos (with poseable limbs and stuff) but I hate the seam on the lower jaws, so those have to go. Unless those are poseble too, which it might be on the '66.

I've bought next to nothing Godzilla-related this year, so I'm definitely looking forward to these.

Here is a short wish list of figures I would love to see (though I doubt I could afford all of them if these ever did see the light of day):

Marmit Monster Heaven Orga
Marmit Monster Heaven Destroyer flying form and Aggregate stages.
Marmit Monster Heaven Battra (Adult form)
Marmit Monster Heaven Mogera (both Showa and Heisei)
Marmit Monster Heaven King Seasar (Final Wars version)
Marmit Monster Heaven Gabara
Marmit Monster Heaven Mothra (GMK)
Marmit Monster Heaven Baragon (GMK
Marmit Monster Heaven Sanda and Gaira
Marmit Monster Heaven Magma

Bandai's Titanosaurus and Showa MG...in *8 inch* form. In fact, re-release *ALL* the Godzilla Memorial Box 2005 figures in 8 inch form....enough with the 6 inch line already :x

Marmit MH and Bandai  figures!

Also, Marmit MH or Bandai 8 inch Giant Octopus figure would be welcomed. I have the Marusan Giant Octopus figure 2004 figure, and to be blunt, it just plains sucks and is one of my least favorite figures in my collection.

In addition, I want to see Gigabrain release more figures in the future. When they first hit the scene, it seemed like they would replace Marmit's MH heaven line as my favorite line of G figures, but after their fast start, their output and diversity slowed to a near dead crawl. I would love to see GigaBrain's take on Varan, Megalon, Baragon, and basically all kaiju, as I felt their Gigan and Monster X were just as good, if not better than their Marmit and Bandai counterparts.

But I can also think of 2 figures that I DON'T want to see:

No more HEDORAH figures!!! Once upon a time, I remember when Hedorah was under represented in figure form, and I longed for the day when more figures of Hedorah would be made by various companies....but now it's getting to the point of absurdity in terms of how many damn Hedorah figures we have now...enough already!

Same goes for the burning Godzilla figure as well....I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in seeing yet another figure of this suit. Everytime I see a new figure of this suit, my reaction is this ----> :kitty:
