I sent Bandai an email asking about the release date. Since the news that TNI posted didn't come with one. Hopefully, I'll get a reply with some useful info.

EDIT:Ok, well, looks like my email was pointless.

According to Diamond Toychest, the figures come out in December.

They're being released six months from now while the last three waves just showed up in toy stores without any warning whatsoever?

Anyone else find that odd?

Exactly. And it never fails that monsters like Gabara frequently get mentioned. I'm all for being hopeful, but nobody puts out Gabara figures. I'd eat my hat if one showed up in the BC line. I wouldn't even consider that '74 MG figure new, because it looks a hell of a lot like the die-cast Bandai toy.

But this line has always been full of weird surprises. A resculpt on the '54 Godzilla in the 6" scale?

Only thing that interests me is the 11 in Gigan and 6in Mechagodzilla.

I'm a huge Showa MG fan, and making a 74 version was really odd, considering they could have remolded and increased the size of the 75.

That is a weird surprise...I ponder what the reason was behind resculpting the first figure.

There we go talking about my stupid dream post again.
