Has it been 100% confirmed that there will be a LegendGoji in this line?

Maybe not 100% (there have been 1 or 2 prototypes that were shown off with full paints that never went into production) but they did mention it in an interview a few months back with TK (iirc they brought it up first) ..I also think they were the first to mention a breath accessory which sparked more debate as to whether Legendgoji would actually have a beam or of it would just be a roar type thing. For the most part we don't find out about these until some sort of solicitation or display goes up, do this has kind of been the exception

This "Adult Jr" is really just a marketing gimmick right? Since it's just a non-burning version of their previous figure, isn't that just equivalent of the Moge-Goji suit used in Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla, which was modified for Destroyah?

Actually the first Monsterarts Heisei Godzilla is more accurate to the '94 suit. In fact, it's about as spot on as you could get. When talking suit accuracy, this is actually a VERY specific figure in that it is ONLY accurate to that brief glimpse of the adult Junior. When they modified the '94 suit to make the Burning Godzilla they actually made a number of siginificant changes (and not just the glowing orange patches). For example, the size and placement of the spines is entirely different between the '94 and '95 versions of the suit. I'm pretty sure the head/face is somewhat different too. I'm sure someone else could probably pinpoint more changes as well.

On page 169 of this thread...looks like I totally called it on the price for "Junior" Adult stage. That "Mothra telepathy" I tellz ya...can be pretty accurate sometimes. LOL! I had called it on the PJ King Kong too before.

Here is the link to reference what I "called" on it:

and here is the link to page 169... viewtopic.php?f=30&t=17512&start=4200

I went about and moved my MonsterArts around the other day. And I'm actually kind of interested in trading up my Goji-94 for Adult jr. The Burning Godzilla moved so much nicer than the 94 figure. At some point I think I will but I can bid my time and wait for a sale or something.

Japan does indeed have their own embargo on the new film. I'm not sure why though.

It's Japan living in a bubble, taken naturally to the stage of toys and entertainment. I'd expect the LegendGoji figure to be shown at the next Tamashii festival... Dunno when that is.

Right. Toho has taken it upon themselves to put a product restriction on any Japanese related merchandise to do with the Godzilla 2014 movie. I've asked the higher ups, and they don't have an answer for when the restrictions are to be lifted. All that was said was that their restrictions revolve around their Japanese release date of the film. It's fair to say that the SHMA G14 figure will be released in Japan in August, September for the USA. There is a big Akiba Showroom event where they'll be displaying the whole summer line up. This is May 10th. It's the only major date we have going for the reveal of SHMA G14.

Cool beans. I like the way his parts can be attached and the shading over his parts looks really neat. I wish I could shade like that on my Gundam kits.
