Soooooo on Monday I got an email that BBTS had finally gotten their shipments of 2014 Godzillas in... Then I cancelled me order =(. Turns out that $64 needs to go somewhere else for now. Priorities... WHHHHHHHHY?????? Why can't I just win the lottery and but excess Godzilla stuff??

Saw this on the Facebook comments. I'm so friggin happy that NECA actually listened to the fans. It's so rare that a company will sit down, listen to the fans, and then make changes based on that. So awesome.

Looks a lot better. I'm still not 100% sold on it. But for hte price, and how impressed I've been with my G14 figure - I may have to bite.

It's an infinitely better head and neck on this Godzilla, and actually looks like 1984 Goji, but it doesn't look as if anything else on the figure's changed. I also got a chuckle out of the hands clearly still being the Trendmasters green when he was being displayed at SDCC. A great head isn't enough by itself for me to shell out the money, but it goes a long way to help.

WOW! I got to say that is looking WAAAYYY better. Head looks a bit large in some angles for the body, but hey, that isn't such a big deal. Glad to see they changed the color too.

That is much better. Good on NECA for listening to their customers. It still has issues and I personally would've rather seen them start over from scratch but that's good enough that I might wind up getting it. Part of me wants to just to show them support for listening and making an effort.

Call me picky but while I'm liking the new head sculpt, the fact seems to remain that the rest of the body still doesn't look right. I'm not sold at all for now. Guess I'll hang tight until the rest of you folks pick a copy up for yourself and post pics here. I just can't stand the elongated wrists, forearms, legs, abs and small fins. Those are a deal breaker for me right now.

I'll pick it up. It's nowhere near as weird as the first attempt, and much closer to being the actual 84-Goji.

I'm honestly not overly impressed with any of my Godzilla NECA stuff except that it hasn't fallen apart yet.
I still like them quite a bit.
