Hey Monsterarts aficionados.

I recently ordered me some 1/700 scale F-35s from Shapeways.

http://www.shapeways.com/model/835347/1 ... terialId=6

And they are pretty damn much in scale with the F-16s included in the JSDF set from Tamashii! I... could not drill tiny holes into them, but I did remedy with a tiny dot of modeling clay on the hull of the model. The actual texture of the models are grainy but meh... I paid 12 bucks I am satisfied.

I used Tamiya Sky Grey for the finish, and a black Gundam panel lining fine point marker to add a cockpit.

Very useful imo for future Monsterarts displays, and multipurpose too. They'll fit in fine with the LegendGoji Monsterarts coming later this year and any other Godzilla monsterarts dioramas, since both the USAF and the JASDF use the F-35.

Yeah, thy are Detolfs from IKEA. However, the Beach colored ones you see pictured were just discontinued, so they only carry black ones now. The black are cool to, but it sucks when you already have a bunch in one color and you have to change.

How much did you pay for your stands Kain? I'm looking at getting something for my SHMA collection. Though I might just go with a $30 bookshelf that we sell at my work. My friend got one nad it doesn't look to bad.

Hey Monsterarts aficionados.

SO, I got

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10016364

That in the mail. Holy crap this is pretty much anything you'll need for IRL authentic JSDF equipment used against Godzilla. They're 1/700 scale and are in scale with the Super Weapons set. Just got mine in the mail today. They do need painting and cement, but these are really tiny! I can't wait to finish and upload pics.

I may even want to build the "assault ship" (you're not kidding anyone Japan, that's an Aircraft carrier with a simple modification).

The 2014 Poll has been officially closed with 10,079 votes!

Here are the results:

Image

The results and comments have been submitted to Bandai Tamashii Nations for consideration.

I'd like to reiterate, these results don't guarantee anything. Its purpose is to collect data on consumer interest within the S.H.MonsterArts line of the Godzilla franchise.

The voting page will remain for everyone's viewing. The confirmation "?" will be filled in as new releases are announced. I'll also be providing a link to it on The Articulation Series site and Facebook page.

Great Job everyone!
