I've decided to get another SHMA and I'm torn between Kiryu and Destoroyah maybe both if I can find some amazon coupons? Does anyone know of Amazon coupons that could be used toward SHMAs or which one of the two I should go with?

Went ahead and just ordered Kiryu, and if Destoroyah goes on sale with in a couple of weeks I'll order him. If not then in about two or three weeks I'll order him.

Yeah, cheapest I've seen Destoroyah on the US market was $107. That was a little after its release too. Since then it's steadily been around $120-130.

I love this site. It shows you the price history on items and will notify you when an item reaches a price you set. I can not recommend it enough. There's even an extension of it for Chrome.

Didn't Destoroyah go down to $96 in a flash sale over the summer?

That's a great link.

Also, if you want e-mail alerts on when monsterarts figures drop you can download this free app.

http://www.nukeprice.com/

You can set it so that it send you emails when there's any price change or set your own custom triggers. This is how I find out about the flash sales.

Nuke price is instant. I actually had to turn off the availability options because I was getting 20 emails in a day for the DEVO SET. For some reason Amazon keeps adjusting it.

Unimax has a 1/700 scale aircraft carrier coming out this year with assorted planes. These should be to scale with the Monsterarts releases.

Ended up picking up the Evo set because it looks like Amazon might be down to its last bit of stock. I'm going to be keeping a close watch on it over the next few months and if it drops in price significently see if I can get a price adjustment.

BTW does anyone have any recommendations for a stand for the flying form of Destoroyah?

Tamashii Stage Act 1, besides being ancient, are static and literally designed for holding humanoid figures by the waist and nothing else. It's as bad a choice as you could possibly make for a Tamashii Stage. They're so old that I don't even know where you would find them affordably.

If you're going Bandai, Tamashii Stage Act 4 or 5 in any color would be fine, are both still in production in a decent variety of clear colors, and are affordable. In case you aren't aware, keep in mind with the price for any listing of either that you get three of each. You could go Trident if you preferred to have someone flying alongside Destoroyah, but that's a little more than you'd need.

Got my Kiryu in today; great figure but his head was lose from the box and the two lines that are attached from his head to his body just dangle any idea on how I can fix this? If not then I have him packed up and ready to go back to Amazon for a replacement.

Get the bundle of three and you'll have stands for Ghidorah, MOGUERA, and Destoroyah/EVO

Are those stands fairly cheap to order?

MonsterArts Mechagodzilla Kiryu is listed for EDIT: Aaaaaand it's gone, price bumped back up to $82.

Thanks to the perfect combination of a ton of Amazon gift cards and Battra Imago's continued lack of Bluefin stock, finally managed to make my first notable purchase of 2014!

Damn it I should have waited on Kiryu oh well.

BTW I got my Evo set from my parents house yesterday and sadly I have to send it back because I'm having major issues with the Aggregate Destoroyah. First off one of the claw feet on the bottom came off and they made the socket to small for the ball joint; I tried to soften it up by running under hot water (the whole leg detached from the body at one point while trying to fix it) then it's tail socket was too small for the ball joint so it's going back. My replacement will be in on Wednesday. If this one is messed up I'm sending it back and just getting something else like Destoroyah final or G2K if he's in stock.

Damn it again I should have waited oh well.

On a side note I kind of wish that I would have gotten Destoroyah Final he jumped up $11 on Amazon today. I'll wait till it goes back down in price before i pick him up.
