Found a Marmit Pagos. Though I like the color scheme but the orginal '97 VP sculpt was much better IMHO. Airbrushed a new sky.

I'll take a lot more pictures this weekend but the STs are pretty cool while Vader just flat out rocks. For being my first Vader figure I have ever owned he is down right perfect. His cape is nice and rubbery so it looks great and will not deteriorate over time. If anything is missing, it is the lack of a choke hold hand. Aside from that, I love him. The death star base rocks too.

Drive is quite good too. There are not quality control issues and the paint apps kick ass. I did not know the Shift Cars were removable on his belt, so that helped make it better.

The rare occasion in which a Meganuron is upstaged by another figure in the same post. Love that transparent vinyl. Gorgeous.

Other than some paint scuffs on the side of the head, good condition.

Since who knows when Bandai will do a Showa Rodan, I went out and bought one with some of my birthday money:

Congrats! I honestly didn't expect him to actually be taller than the MonsterArts Fire Rodan. That comes to me as very surprising as well as may get one myself.

Got my Albatross (Chikyu Bigeuon sp?) Mechanikong... Pretty great sculpt, kind of lackluster paint job... i took some pictures and it looks better in pictures than it does in person. Hoping my incoming GMK Baragon has a better finish to it... ... i know... i was warned...

Since my idea of a MonsterArts collection is on the backburner until at least next year (I don't care for the 1990's era of films or designs too much, so Godzilla 2000: Millennium is the only one I've purchased so far. I'm waiting for classic designs, and wouldn't mind a little more Millennium either). So, I decided to do something I've wanted to for quite some time: start a Bandai Mini-Figure collection. Just bought this MIB on eBay, $30 shipped:

Does anyone know the exact height of the Godzilla? I'm trying to find more candy toys that will scale well with these two...

They are a bit bigger than the Bandai High Grades and a bit smaller than the Bandai Ultimate Monster series. I'd highly recommend both those series if you are interested in candy toys due to the large selection of the High Grades and the detail (for series 3 onward) and the high level detail on the Ultimate Monster series. They reissued a large number of the High Grades as part of the "Godzilla Chronicles" series
