Decided to get an SH Monsterarts King Kong instead of the NECA 24" Godzilla with the money I got for the Ultimate GINO I sold. I'll still be getting the 24 incher, but in another two weeks.

Where did you get Android 18? I saw you got Krillin at B&N?

They got a bunch of Gundam stuff at mine, but not much outside that when it comes to Bandai stuff.

To go with my en route SH Monsterarts King Kong, I went ahead and ordered a new T-Rex to go along with. Not anything super fancy, but I fell in love with the mold when I first saw it:

Cool stuff you have all posted there.

Btw GreatMM what company is that T-Rex from? It's really nice. Do they have a Spinosaurus? It'd be interesting to see if some company makes a Spinosaurus based off the new information on how Spinosaurus behaved (QUADRUPED!)

Got this guy from Klen! :D I really like him. I think (and this may be in November) my next MA I'd like to get is the Larva set or Battra Adult.

But I can't play with them yet. I was just checking to make sure I didn't get a dud. I'll get them only after I either put back the money into saving from this, pass my coding class, or after Christmas (which ever happens first). So until then.. to the closet they go.

So I finally went out and bought the Neca G14. Image
I debated whether or not to open the packaging but eventually the child in me won out. I was expecting a little more articulation but for $20 I feel like it was well worth the value. I'm going to mess around with this later and take a lot of pictures.

Did not realize the Bandai Creation (or is it just USA now?) version was out in the wild already! Would really like to score one of those in person myself.

The FW was $16.50 on eBay. The older one I have had long enough that I don't remember. Charactics are funny in that they are small but people try to sell them at Marmit prices.

A long time ago, when Charactics was just starting out, I nearly got into collecting them because I appreciated the small, SD aesthetic they used. I never did though because $40 each for the things felt too wrong for me to pay and I skipped Gezora, the one I wanted most, and the other early releases. Had the exchange rate been better back then and the cost was more like sub-$20 I'd have a bunch of them by now I'm sure. That FW Hedorah looks great! The classic one, not so much... I'd have probably always chosen to skip that one.

I got the German Collectors Edition in today. (G14 bluray) I will post pictures of the statue when I get home from work. It's... interesting...

The face is a little off... paint job is a little rough on the face too.
