Ya'll make me want that 25cm Gamera 96. I had the product's page open on my screen, but then persevered and closed the window haha. Figure does look great, but I just don't need any more X-Plus in my collection right now.

So i was at my friendly local comic shop a couple months back and my FLCS owner asked if i was interested in the 30cm X-Plus Mothra larva. I hadn't planned to get it but I made the offhand remark that $90 was way too much for that figure, and that i couldn't see paying any more than $60 for it... and he quickly looked at some spreadsheets and remarked "i can do 60"... So it arrived this week. Very cool.

I got preorders in already for the 30cm Hedorah and the 1962 Godzilla since i decided the 25cm was a skip for me. Until some announcement proves me otherwise, the only other 30cm X-Plus that i can see adding to my collection would be if Titanosaurus were released domestically since i'm starting to lose hope on a 25cm release.

Bad day (car break down....). Way to feel better...? Talk to girlfriend and order 6 more Ultra Spark Dolls! :D

Of all Ultras, why Nice? Because I have a hunch that as this line progresses, he's going to be an Ultra that eventually goes OOP. He's such an obscure Ultra hero.

I'm also talking with two dealers on E-Bay about two different lots of standard, 6" figures. More on that as they become official.

Diamond X-Plus Mothra showed up in the mail today. This figure is really impressive. Definitely my favorite Mothra figure in her larval stage.

First lot is confirmed! Guy on E-Bay is giving me a TREMENDOUS deal for these four guys, two of which usually sell for $30-$40 on their own.

Just so happy I can cross Birdon off my wish-list as well. A mere $25 for him and $10 for the other three (including Ifu!!!)

Found out nothing seriously wrong with my car... (THANK GOD!!!)... Alas...

Move over Trespasser and Cherno Alpha, these two are coming to the shelf...

Image

A mere $30 for the pair! Amazing win I didn't expect to get so cheap. Also ordered a Revoltech Daimajin, simply because I can and have been wanting one!

No, you use a hot air dryer on the joint in the tail then you push it in when its soft and malleable.

The face on that Gamera looks about right if one had to endure having warmed vinyl stuffed up their ass...

Alright it's in kinda. Even when heating it up it is a colossal pain in the ass (lol omg literally for gamera derp).

Thank's for the tip. I also just realized that there might of been instructions for that in the box and didn't notice it until I was done. I was too captivated by his beauty. 96 gamera is my fav.

Sometimes the tail joint and the hole must be heated with a blow dryer for an easier assembly. That's a cool looking GMK, even though I can't see all of it.

Another knocked off my 2014 wish list. Gasaphon 1992 King Ghidorah.

Image

Haven't gotten one of these gasaphon/high grade figures in a while, despite having an entire shelf dedicated to them. Guess I'm overdo. Just need to find Rainbow Mothra and Aqua Mothra for a price I'm willing to pay these things (around $10) and I'll be happy.

I might have been bit by the Xplus bug. I really wanted that burning Godzilla but I literally have no place to put him.

My newest X Plus additions:

These toys are always impressive to me. The level of detail is incredible, especially the texture of Godzilla's skin.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the suit accurate stuff. Marmit and m1 have some great stuff as well, and I even enjoy a little bandai action. There's plenty of stuff I wish I could buy, but there is no way I can splurge like that. I'm sticking with X Plus stuff for now. The next reissue I have my eye on is the 62 G, but that depends on what new releases X plus announces in Japan over the next few months.

Scored two more Ultraman kaiju: Deathfacer and Skyilla.

Image
And this figure is unique amongst Bandais... because it does this!

Image
AMAZINGNESS!!!!! Ha. I only got him to complete my King of Mons family along with Bajiris.

And then Deathfacer.

On a real Heisei UM kaiju kick.
