I wonder if Japan will have any toys for the new Godzilla popping up anytime soon?

Revealed today as they have been promising, NECA shows off the Godzilla 2014 articulated figure they are planning for release. I have painted color pics posted and the last two are non-painted to show better the articulation points.

Like I said in the FB group, the face looks small. The pic is also at a weird angle. Eh, I dunno.

I'll likely be getting the little figures that come with buildings, for the diorama purposes and of course the MUTOs. And the SD Figures too.

My brother (who is an elementary school teacher) may end up getting the large Godzilla for a display piece he has on Godzilla in his corner of the class.

I like the design of LegendGoji, but as far as collectors grade toys go I think I will be getting the Monsterarts. It'll likely be twice as expensive as the one from NECA but will just look overall nicer.

I dig the display for the NECA figure though.

I look forward to seeing what S.H. MonsterArts has in store. I'm curious if their version will have a matte or glossy finish.

I'm kind of surprised that Toho isn't making them put the circular on the toys. I was kind of expecting them, since they've been using them on the DVDs and comics.

The '84 Godzilla is the main reason why I was intrigued by NECA's Classic line. If they do cancel that figure, that would be a huge letdown to the fans, and a missed opportunity by the company to make a decent profit at least. I hope the rumor isn't true.
