As someone who just received Red King yesterday and has no problem with such figures like these typically... I don't actually like Red King. I wouldn't have paid full price for this. He's no longer as cheap as he was at HLJ, and Red King might just end up on sale for Christmas/the new year and make it even cheaper. It's best to wait and see how low he will go later rather than buy now.

Junior's problems are that he's an unknown quantity and doesn't come with a whole lot to justify the price unless you need helicopters. The articulation should be better than Red King's at least, and assuming you go with Amazon it's not as if you need to spend any of that money right this second.

Either way, your best options for buying either figure involve waiting for the time being, suggested in Red King's case and mandatory due to the release date in Junior's.

Instead of going through the tedious and bandwidth crazy process of posting my detailed reviews here, I've opted to post my SH MonsterArts reviews at Gforever.net. For those interested, my next comprehensive SH MonsterArts review is ready and has been posted on Gforever.net. You can look at it here:

SH MonsterArts SpaceGodzilla:

Let me know what you guys think. ;)

Good review, good use of pictures to illustrate your points. Two questions though... 1. What would you have liked to have seen for accessories? 2. When are you going to review the Gigabrain Ghidorah?

welp (Happy Holidays folks)... looks like there is something pretty interesting at the bottom of this Godzilla 1995 write up by Tamashii. What strikes me is... "S.H.MonsterArts has reached the end of the Heisei era of Godzilla characters ? what new kaiju await in coming months?".

What is being implied here? That they are moving on to another era of kaiju, and bypassing Godzilla 1985, Godzilla vs. Biollante (they teased fans at our requests on Bluefin's wall to see Biolante) and Godzilla and Mothra: Battle for Earth? It would be sad not to do those films, and I guess if it is read and taken literally that there would be no Mecha-King Ghidorah. If they move on to Showa (like folks have been posting and asking all over Bluefin's wall), then Mothra in both forms can get released still. Yet no Battra. Maybe Battra doesn't have a big enough demand from the fans. I would hope for every Gojira loving cell in my body that they would make Godzilla 1985. If they don't I may...

This is the article in English: http://tamashii.jp/t_item/33/

I guess the fans have to start posting on Bluefin's wall to let them know to go for Showa next and not Millennium.

Hopefully they give you a Spacegodzilla. It's the best figure of the line so far.

I'd like to see Battra, Biollante, and Mecha-King Ghidorah (not to mention Godzilla 89/91!). They should have released Mecha-KG instead of the 91 version, since MKG was unique to the Heisei series. Same with Battra. I don't care about Mothra 92, but Battra is unique. There, I said it. My two cents.

I would have liked to get a Battra too. Like you said, unique. Who knows they might make a triple pack of insectoids of Battra, Mothra, and Megagurius.

Tim, dude, I have no problem with you at all man.

BUT, it's kind of aggravating that you only post here and in the Ultra Act threads. We're really trying to build a toy community here that's eclectic, broad, wide-ranging...and it just seems like a step back every time I see your post, completely ignoring what types of discussion we're having in the other threads.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't post here. Far from it. I appreciate your enthusiasm.

Just, try to spread it around a little you know? Even if you're not collecting other lines, at least commenting on other lines and figures just might spread a little more good will...

I don't really understand why it's a problem if he only posts in the Act or Arts threads. I mean, isn't that his right as a visitor to the site?
