Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

In addition to the Destroyah I got yesterday, I also bought a couple more Bandai Ultramonsters on Friday. I got an original 1983 Antlar (no tag but in great condition) and a relatively hard to find 30th Anniversary purple Takkong.

Takkong is one of my favorite monsters. That looks like an excellent figure.

My latest purchase to arrive was the Toygraph Meganuron in translucent green... I can't begin to say how pictures fail to do this figure justice. I have a few translucent figures, but this one stands out... I think i will need to track down the "gothic" and "red" variants that CT db lists as well... but this figure definitely instills a desire for more translucent figures. It's a shame Toygraph isn't still putting stuff out.

LW Studios. Anybody do business with them?

I ordered an 84 Godzilla statue from them.

They have 87% feedback and some of the negative reviews are "Never received the item" or "Does no communicate." I will say the positive overwhelmed the negative so I took a chance.

Figured I'd finally post some pics of the figures that I bought the past several months.

First off, X Plus EX Gomora. Excellent figure with a HUGE tail. Love it.

Image

Secondly, the Art Storm Red King...though it's more based on the Red King 2 design which is fine by me as that's my favorite Red King design. I was feeling down a little about skipping out on the recent Red King 2 Reborn figure from X Plus...it's available but not for cheap...when the Art Storm figure came across my attention. It's beautiful and I think it's far more interesting of a figure actually. Excellent figure of one of my favorite kaiju. My favorite Red King figure hands down.

Image

Here's the two of them together.

Image

Next up, Ultraman Noa, Ultraseven X and Woo.

Image

The detail on the Seven X figure is insane for a standard vinyl figure.

Image

The little SD designer vinyl Ultraseven figures with their big brother.

Image

And finally the 25cm X Plus Guilala with AAB Gamma Astro Boat. Pics don't do this figure justice folks.

On the X Plus EX Gomora The eyes don't look yellow like they did for the production shots, so that's pretty much awesome

I've pre-ordered the standard version of the 30cm X Plus Godzilla 84 (my last figure in that scale) and the Internet Exclusive Gyaos. I could really care less about the flying Gyaos, but I need the Gyaos with folded wings to save space. The only other two X Plus figures I'm buying this year will be Showa Gamera and Guiron if they make him too.
