I've always considered the 64 head/face its signature, and part of the reason why I like it so much. :)

Here's one of my favorite Godzilla figures. The X-plus USA Godzilla 1964 measuring at almost 7" tall. I bought this in a set with the 1965 and the 2001. The 1965 is just as nice, but I don't like the pose as much as this. I kind of wish I didn't sell off the 2001.

Posted two pics because I'm playing with the camera settings. The second one is more true to the figure's color hue. Anyone want to share tips on taking nice figure pics?

edit: 64! not 62!

Loving this thread. G '64 is my favorite showa suit, and in my top 3 (maybe 2) suits ever.

Here's another variant from Gigabrain: the mighty Glowie! Also, another Yuji Sakai mini diorama (interestingly, both these figures are based on the GTTHM appearance, which is my preferred version of the suit!). Last is a group shot of these two along with the Bandai Memorial Box 6 incher and the Bandai Hyper series 4 inch. I took some with & some without the flash to try & get better pics.
