Picked this up from HobbyLinkJapan. Cost only $28 and got here in less than a week.

Hyper Zetton! Aww yeah.

This is the standard release. The first one was the "movie announcement" version.

Originally I was planning on getting the non-winged Hyper Zetton when it came out, but I didnt feel like waiting and figured "well I can always remove the wings if it bothers me that much."

Image

Here the only differences between his two forms:

He grows "wings" obviously.
Image

As well as a bony tail, which is actually curved off to the side. That's cool with me, though, because I never cared the tail anyway.
Image

One thing I'm not cool with it is this latest example of Bandai cutting corners...or NOT cutting corners as it were.
Image

Seriously guys? You did this with EX and Fire Zetton, too. It's a bit disappointing.

On a side not, this Zetton has a different color for the glowly parts. Zetton, EX, and Fire all have an orange color, whereas Hyper has yellow. The black is also a bit glossier than the others.
Image

Anywho, size comparison time.

Er...nevermind.

1. There's a version of Hyper Zetton without the wings?

2. I think you and I both own the earlier EX Zetton release. Almost positive that the second version has the same "cheaper" brighter yellow that's on Hyper Zetton.

3. There has to be some obsessed collector who bought the trailer version and the standard release, taking pics side-by-side right? I've yet to see that done anywhere! I'm almost positive that they're the same figure, but it would be nice to see it for myself, you know? Without buying them both.

Some fun stuff came in...

Bluebird Mechagodzilla and MKGhidorah battle sets! Bluebird distributed Trendmasters Godzilla products in the UK. Just about everything came as a battle set, with little army men. This is the first I'd heard of the 10" figures coming like this, though. Boxes are very different, and about an inch taller.

Thanks. I can't believe how great the boxes are. Better than a few of my standard TM stuff. And the Megaguirus is damaged, unfortunately. But it cut the price and isn't TOO obvious - missing a tip on the right wing. Just need to figure out a decent way to display him. He's an impressive figure, but I'm sort of out of low display points. Not sure where he can go.

Baragon would be cool, but I'd really rather get the G55, G62, G64, and that Varan.
I remember not being interested in them at all way back at GFest 99... or 2k, I always forget. I remember them all hanging from a rod across the display. Just a pile of bagged vinyls behind the sellers. There were boxes of em, too!

REALLY want that new Gigabrain Ghidorah. Keep hoping he'll pop up on eBay, but no luck.

I'm getting a bit worried about all the Heisei G figures. I'm always shocked by what I can fit on there, but it looks like I will definitely have to break up the display when that new X-Plus 89 comes in. Ah, well...

Damaged or not, the bulk of the Megaguirus is there and looks just as pretty as any other.

Man, Heisei, I didn't know you were a Marmit-dude too! You got all kinds of stuff.

That new Heisei Goji (I forget who makes it) looks pretty cool. It's not movie accurate, but there's just something about the face that makes it kinda appealing. Very unique.

You gotta take new pictures of all your stuff sometime. That big Gojira poster looks pretty awesome in the background.

Heh, will do. The place is torn to hell at the moment. Got a lot going on. Two new servers to set up, 5 workstations to reconfigure, 7 more to build, and I just upgraded my own system. 13TB RAID5 and 32GB RAM for all my virtual machines, to take over for my personal servers.
Add to that the fact that I'm organizing, to sell, just about all of my video games, and I can barely walk through the place!

Speaking of which, I think I'll give this board first dibs. Going to sell on the Racketboy forums next week, but if anyone wants any retro and modern games; Punisher, Sandman, or Avengers comics; or some McFarlane's Dragons, I'll be posting soon.

But I'm really not too into the Marmit stuff. Just some choice pieces. I'm actually a bit disappointed by MechaG. And the Monster Heaven Gigan trumps this guy, outright. Rodan is funky in a good way, but I really like Angy and Godzilla 55.
Megaguirus though... freaking beautiful.

That Godzilla statue is the Albatross one. You know, that company I always swear off of when I'm hit with their latest disappointment? I do like this one, though. He's an interesting statue. I like the pose. Set in with all the others, he stands out in a good way.
The little X-Plus G 94/95, I never noticed the toes on him before... then again, he is a new figure for me. Kinda weird.

That's Bogal from Ultraman Mebius. She just got a reissue and thankfully does not look to have been downgraded compared to the original release. The only real difference is the mold is in a lighter gray vinyl and the painted detail around the "mouth" isn't as precise and complete: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail ... Y-TOK-1876

An original Natsunome Dragon though... awesome indeed. Bet you didn't overpay for that one either. Were these from that APO guy on eBay?

Got my 68 Godzilla from ClawMark. :)

What are some other stores that still sell this stuff? A lot of the ones I used to know are gone. :( And what happened to chibigoji?

Marmit Monster Heaven GFW Gigan (Dark blue Glitter variant).

Very cool figure, and got him cheap for 3500 yen brand new, unopened 8-) I will post more about him later in the Marmit Appreciation thread....

Not a large item by any means, but quite a nice one, imo. Iwakura Manda from the Godzilla's Son Collection 3.

Image

I wish I could find more of the Iwakura stuff now that I know about it. I really want the Minya and Gabara but all I can find online is the mono-color items of stuff of which I have no interest.
