This one is from Marusan, due out later this month at the Toy Festival in Japan, I believe.

Hmm... I appear to have soiled myself in joy. Gorosaurus looks incredible. Dare I say he even looks better than the Bandai Museum figure?

I really like the new blue Marusan MG. I don't like too much about their other figures, but I really love the '74 and '75 MG and I think it's just a really interesting toy.

I almost had a stroke when I saw the big 15" Marmit MG this year, I wanted it so badly but it's too much for right now. Plus I wouldn't be able to keep it in my dorm room and I don't want to only see it once a month when I come home or so.

I have looked at all of the Monster Heaven Marmits, and I do like almost all of the models you suggested. The Megalon and Gigan especially. I am really not big into "Megalon" or "Gigan" the films, I can still watch and have fun with them, but for some reason despite what I feel having been mediocre movies, I LOVE Gigan and Megalon toys. I really dig the old Bullmark Megalon, to be honest. The Hawaiian version I think you have? Beautiful toy. The Marmit Megalon looks pretty similar to it, which is cool, and it's a cool toy on it's own as well, especially the Tokyo Toy Fest Exc. on ClubTokyo.org. I like the MG, too. The black/silver Gigan and the blue show exclusive Gigan are really cool, so is the newer black Megalon.

The only thing I'm not big on is the really shiny/metallic-y toys, especially when it's Godzilla.

I'll tell you, some of these Marmits when they were new I wanted them all immediately was all of the Milenium Mechagodzilla figures. I think GXM and Tokyo SOS were excellant Godzilla movies in general, definately the best of the Milenium Series, and these toys drove me wild when I saw them. They were just too much back them, and I never really tried to get them.

To be honest, if I decided to start buying these Marmits, it'd only be the ones I really liked, like the Gigan/Megalon/Mechagodzilla and a few others. I like some of the paint variants, such as the Megalon and Gigan I mentioned, and I really like that black Titanosaurus figure they made in 2004. The two new Mothras are nice looking.

As I mentioned I'm not too big into the crazy psychodelic-style toys, but some of these are really cool looking now that I'm really paying attention to them. The new Gorosaurus is definately a rocker.

As far as the new Marusans, like I said I really only like the new MG, and the a little bit the large scale Vintage-Style Godzilla which I think is kind of cool regardless of what it looks like, and that's about it for them.

I don't know, maybe next summer I will try to get some of these. Bandai's will always be my priority, but I do think these are some cool toys. I'm growing out of the overly-dismissive attitude I've had for a while, but they're still a lot of money for a new toy compared to the same amount for an older Bandai.
