New Shipments Huzzah!

AND FINALLY
I have a Monster Heaven Varan! Thanks to Glow-nut. This and the Gigan were what made me want to get Monster Heaven figures to begin with.
Also, I got the 68' or 74' whatever you wanna call it Angilas. I almost thought I was going to have to buy the hideous light brown variant to get the sculpt.
Although, I suppose that's not fair. The light brown figure looks alright if not for the blue sprays. The red is also a little excessive, but I suppose could represent him getting his jaw torn in MechaGodzilla (1974).

Anywho, I also have pictured the Super 7 Squirm. This thing was kind of expensive. It's only about 4 1/2 inches tall, maybe. I normally stick to Godzilla collectibles, but this thing really struck me as cool.

All in all I'm extremely pleased, April has been a busy, busy month for my bank account. Unfortunately I've spent almost all my "Stupid things" fund. Seriously, I have like 120.00 which I intend to spend on the first Transformers Animated figures that come out.

I'm seriously beginning to think Marmit figures have become an addiction. :( Good thing I start my summer job in three weeks.

Took a trip to Toy Tokyo in NYC today and picked up a few things that caught my eye.

This is the first Slash Popy reissue I've ever picked up. It's Gigan, it glows and the color scheme is awesome.

I was on the fence about this Hazawa Gumi King Ghidore figure. I definitely like it for what it is but like the Slash figure it will probably be in the only figure in this line I'll ever pick up, unless they put out something besides Godzilla figures. I'm bugged by the droopy wing on the left side, which reminds me of the first Pilot Ace Ghidora. Anyone know how to fix something like this?

I've wanted the M-1 "Space Titanium" Mechagodzilla from the moment I first saw pictures of it. But for some reason I've passed up every chance to buy one. Now that I finally have it I think it's even cooler than I thought it would be. The paint job is just fantastic. Marmit can have fun with their double cast figures, but I'm really enjoying these cool metallic figures M-1 has been putting out. Now I can't wait to see the metal-looking Mechagodzilla Marusan has planned.

Just found this at my door. Slightly banged up 1994 8" Bandai MOGERA. Not bad at all for under $20 shipped. My 8" Bandai colleciton is growing.

Legion's thread about the Gorosaurus Bandai inspired me to buy one. And I figured I might as well get Kong while I'm at it. MekaniKong is just tossed in the pic for good measure :).

Got the Hobby Complex Marmit orange Burning Godzilla figure today. Sorry the photos are sort of dark, but I wasn't getting enough light today in the shots.

Image

I was actually surprised to see that for the most part it's almost identical to the Superfest version from last year. The only differences seem to be that there is more orange color in the vinyl in the newer version (the tip of the tail doesn't look like a light bulb) and it's also a little taller. The new figure is on the right in the following picture.

And here's the two '07 Superfest figures, the mailaway and the Hobby Complex figure.
