Rodan seems to follow suit with SpaceGodzilla in that the figures look better than the beasts on screen. Though the improvement isn't as vast with Rodan.

I've had my Godzilla for some time and hi head doesn't want to stay on what so ever, unless I remove the little neck rim piece. Any one else have this issue? Thinking of taking a dremel to it to thin it up a bit, or just leaving it off.

The neck rim piece really impedes movement on my Godzilla. When I was messing with him and taking photos I just removed it.

you can see the joints in Ghidorah's neck from behind, but hard to see from the front.

My god!!!!! I am just floored everytime I see this monstrosity! This Ghidorah looks absolutely awesome! I can't wait to hear more about it And of course to eventually own it. The matter of space though, is a very pressing issue as this thing will need command its own corner in my room.

I figure you could sit it on top of a bookcase. Judging by body dimensions compared to the Godzilla in the pic, you will have to turn it on an angle, and bend the right or left wing (depending which direction it faces) inwards and you should be all set. If you put it on a shelf inside the bookcase, then you have to elevate it pretty high. I have Marvel Legends build a figure from long ago, and I have it on the inside of a bookcase, but for that particular shelf, it is dropped down pretty low. I would say you need about 13 to 15 inches of shelf height (or about two of those Godzillas stacked on top of one another) inside a bookcase.

Wow! That's pretty!

I like that a side by side comparison with Godzilla is shown. You do get a sense of how big this sucker is going to be.

I want KG now, but I'm sort of glad the release isn't until September. I'll be able to set aside the cash for him and not take as much a hit on the wallet. Now, where's my preo-order??? :P

Nice figure :th-up: But one slight nitpick I have is that its legs are a little too skinny/GMK-esque below the knee caps, and it's distracting...the heisei KG's legs weren't that skinny (and his torso in general seems just tad bit on the skinny side as well). If they fix these problems, it will really be solid....

sort of looking at the GMK Ghidorah, the legs on that movie suit look more bird like in the way it moves from knee cap to the foot area...
Image

and then the Bandai Heisei Ghidorah that the MA one is based on looks about similar in the leg area.
Image

Looks like the MA Ghidorah looks more in common with the Bandai version on the leg mass.

What could maybe be throwing the eyes off is that the MA Ghidorah is being shown with slightly bent knees, whereas the usual other figures for that same suit, show the legs more straight. Maybe you can bend and straighten as you wish...maybe.
