Love my 6" Godzilla, but am disappointed that apparently I got one of the production error ones that didn't have the full paint-job. Maybe I should be on the lookout for a replacement one...

... or maybe I should wait for the foot tall one!!!

If anything it'd probably be closer to what X-Plus is doing. They just announced a new line not unlike X-Plus and it retails for about the same.

Rewatching vs Gigan makes me hope for NECA to do a Showa Ghidorah... :(

No, not technically. But it fits the bill of a Bandai collector's line which is why I brought it up.

The review is clearly meant for the neca 2014 Godzilla figure. He even mentions the issue and fix for the stuck jaw.

At this point I'm just confused with whether or not NECA's new 24 inch Godzilla will feature a tail without a bendy wire? I would prefer that the tail on the larger figure have ball joints instead, to tolerate a lot of posing and rough play. I'm hesitant to move the bendy tail too much on my 12 inch Godzilla. I already broke my Knifehead's bendy wire tail as a small gash developed in the rubber after I accidentally bent the tail the wrong way......

They've done a few human characters from Aliens, but i think they only have Kane in Nostromo Spacesuit with the facehugger covering his face from Alien. They also announced they are doing an Alien era Ripley this year for the 35th anniversary, iirc

From 12" Godzilla to the 2" Wiz Kids minis... :) I picked up a couple of the Neca/Wiz Kids 2-inch Godzilla miniatures. The sculpts and paint jobs aren't very impressive, but I still think they are cool. It's nice to have some Godzilla miniatures in this scale, quite a bit smaller than the Gashopon figures. Could be fun to find some games that these li'l guys could be worked into.

Picked up the 6 inch figure. And for $20 it's totally worth it. I'm still going to get the SHMA figure too, cuz reasons, but it's a great item to hold me over for it. And I am tempted to also get the 12 inch figure when it comes out.

And here it is with a How to Train Your Dragon 2 spoiler

Why do you think the movie was so dark you could barely see anything? They had to hide their ugly designs some how.

... If you dislike the Xenomorph designs in AvP:R, you best dislike their design in Aliens as well, they're nearly identical.

Heavily influenced does not make them the same designs though.
