Well alright then. I just assumed someone got confused by the whole "classics Godzilla series". Guess I'll see at Toyfair.

You know those enormous, 2 foot tall action figures of Superman or Batman or Darth Vader you see at Target and Wal*Mart? Yeah, Jakks Pacific is making one of those of Godzilla.

I am intrigued to see what the Godzilla deluxe attack and roar figure looks like. For a toy that is claimed to be no more than 7 inches tall, contains "collector level" of detail, and added gimmicks, I am curious how the final product looks and works.

^That one looks smaller to me. That is Jakks, right? They're doing multiple figures, so I suppose a giant version would have the same basic look... but different.

(really unhelpful)

Well there it is then, interesting. I wonder then what version of Godzilla will be the first for this Classics series. My guess is they'll start somewhere in the Hesei series.

I'd be all for a Kirygoji >_>.

Actually I'm interested in what NECA has to offer. I'd be willing to give them a try.

Apparently my local Wal-Mart won't be carrying the Bandai Godzilla figures. :/ I guess maybe K-Mart (the nearest one is an hour 15 minutes away) is my best bet.

I only really see Godzilla figures at Toys R Us, K-Mart and Target on occasions anyway.

I'm really interested in the playsets more than anything. If I can get a bunch of buildings I'd buy a lot of them

I do have a couple of those actually! They fit really well with the 8inch standard figures. I got a bunch of Type-90s from Dragon Model and World Tank Museum that are in scale with the 8inch Kiryugoji.

1/700 scale is indeed kind of rare, since its mostly a ship based scale. But jets and tanks do exist. The Monsterarts SDF set is in the same scale. Anyway I'll be on the look out for those. There is this local hobby shop that has Abrams in the 1/700 scale. Might be useful for the future LegendGoji Monsterarts,

Expects to see more this Sunday the 16th.

I don't think we'll see their 2014 Godzilla fully revealed, but NECA did say they would aim to have one of the classics figures on display. So here's to that. :D
