You guys see this f'n Allosaurus? Wow, I needs it!!! But my wallet hurts!!! :( Hopefully it's cheap...I'll only even consider it if it's in the 8 inch scale and that's because it looks like a great version of the dinosaurus from my youth...like a pissed off Harryhausen dinosaur

Any other new Ultra releases in December?

Actually the Allosaurus is available for preorder in this month's Diamond Comics Previews with a ship date of January. So it will be available stateside. Look for it as We Love Model Animation Allosaurus.

http://www.tfaw.com/More-Products/Colle ... e___415776

TFAW, Entertainment earth, & Urban collector have it up for preorder. $48.00 is the lowest price I've seen.

The coming soon page also has Ultra stuff for december:

Ultraman Taro
Metron Seijin (new mold)
Giradoras
Zarab Seijin
Goldon
Monster Museum Neronga, Pigmon, Green Mons
SpectreMan

Also to add, I got the exclusive Godzilla 68 with Minya today, and the closed jaw for it fits, but it has about an 1/8" gap keeping it from being fully closed.

I don't know where I'll put it...but that Allosaurus must be mine. Under 50 bucks it's a steal.

Are we sure that's not supposed to be the Allosaurus from ONE MILLION YEARS B.C.? It looks awfully similar. But the color's wrong. And the sculpt has some slight differences. Plus, the "We Love Model Animation" title makes me think it has to be from some stop-motion film...

I think it's deff an homage to it (and Gwangi and the Allosaurus in Kong)...but not quiet the same design.

So here's a couple pictures of my latest X-Plus figures... i have been following the 25cm line although i don't normally do the Internet exclusive figures, but i gots to get me some Meganulon... and if they ever finish the DAM line up, then i will have a Minya in the mix

The meganulon spotlight!

And there is a YMSF Kumonga for a size comparison, so its a pretty long figure

Minya is a pretty solid figure
Image

Rodan is Rodan, and I would have probably skipped this release if it werent for the meganulon, but he does look pretty impressive on a shelf next to similar scaled figures

I also picked up the 68 Angurius, he's a pretty solid figure

The G68 is nice but i had the same problem as some other people, so i tightly tied his jaw for a couple weeks and it seems to be staying in place now.. if that starts to sag i may try using some wax to keep it closed

i preordered standard versions of Gorosaurus and Varan, but i am skipping G62. i was on the fence with Varan, but i really don't have any Varans in my collection so i caved... i do like that the sculpt has translucent spines.

Other than the very nice looking 25cm Gorosaurus, these latest releases by Xplus range from "so so" to "just plain sucks". The 25cmVaran looks "Ok", but it's definitely nothing special and an easy pass. I've seen the G65-66 in numerous stores recently, and it looks even less impressive in person. And this 25cm G62 looks horrible all around...overall, the inconsistency Xplus is renowned for continues... :-\

Postby larryw3158 » Mon Nov 19, 2012 11:19 pm

Is there any way we in America can buy or order the internet exclusive versions?
