I'm not sure I want this figure....it's not horrible figure, I just love how the 1998 Bandai 54 looks. Must have that MechaGodzilla 74 though!

That 54 Doesn't look as bad as I figured it did. The head is still a bit wonky, but not anywhere near as bad as I expected.

Good for you bandai creation.

Until I see one up close and personal, I'm thinking that this '54 sculpt is as bad as a shitmonger deep in his trade.

I am glad someone posted a pic of the 2 54's side by side. The US one looks a lot more animated and less like a statue. I like it.

The Bandai Japan figure and the new Bandai Creation figure appear to be the same height in the photo. Is that accurate?

No luck for me at my local TRU, though they did have A LOT of the 12-inch figures, and those are reissues of series 5. So, perhaps they haven't put out he 6-inch figures yet.

How well made is a 10 dollar child's toy supposed to be? If these things were expensive imports I'd probably pass on them,but I don't think it's unreasonable to pay 10 bucks for figures of this quality. They actually cost less than some of the smaller,even worse looking superhero figures and such in the toy aisle.
