X-Plus Ymir Vinyl

Postby buddah11674 » Tue Jun 29, 2004 1:08 pm

I just picked this up at Toyzz.com! This figure ROCKS! The paint job is great, the articulation is good (you can open and close the mouth; I had him smoking a cig last night at the local Denny's  ) and the vinyl is hard like the older Bandai figures! If you're a fan of X-plus, do yourself a favor and pick this one up!

I've had one for about a year. Is yours up on his tiptoes? I don't know if he was molded this way or if the vinyl settled while it was boxed up in the store but mine won't really stand flat on his feet.

The cyclops figure is pretty cool too, in fact I prefer it. And I got a 12" X-Plus "Tower Records Exclusive" cyclops with a removeable club and two interchangeable heads, the one-horned cyclops and the 2-horned one. He's pretty groovy.

Mine stays flat on his feet. Maybe you could reposition him with a hairdryer?

My X-Plus Ymir is a ballerina too :(
One of these days I'll get up the nerve to take the hairdryer to him, but I'm always afraid I'll make it worse.
I too vastly prefer the cyclops. He and the dragon are, in my opinion, the two best pieces in the whole line, with the griffin also high on the list.
By the way, does anyone's centaur actually stand up?
