I like the Y-MSF gigan. while i can't tell any difference between the two pics tony posted (other than the angle) i think the prototype looks better than the 6 inch bandai, & way better than the BM. the shoulders look a little wide, but that's really the only (minor) thing i see to complain about.

I don't understand the animosity here towards the Y-MSF sculpts. Not all are great, but i think they've got some really nice ones in the line. I don't see a problem with the skin texture on their godzillas. It's a little stylized, but so are the hallowed marmits of recent times.

oh, & i don't think the Y-MSF gigan limbs are all that misproportioned (or too lumpy)....

Now, the hating on the BM Gigan, i totally understand. That things just ugly.

Legion man, I don't mean any offense by saying this. But whenever you watch Wheel Of Fortune, do you see Pat Sajak cheering for one particular contestant to win and encouraging one of the other contestants to land the wheel on the Bankrupt space?

You know, I'd be a lot more willing to concede that I've overacted this week regarding this poll if there weren't several members here who were as baffled as I am at the BM Museum figure's ability to tie for second place with a toy many feel is one of the coolest Gigan figures ever produced. I just wish I knew why people were voting for it. Thats all.

That said congrats to all the winners of the forty second round, who all receive special badges of honor: silver Mechagodzilla for second place and gold Ghidora for first place! With four figures tying for third it didn't make sense to try to cram all of them in the winners photo, as much as I would have liked to.
