Now that's interesting. I bet someone got in trouble that day when they were stamping the dioramas. Since the bases are somewhat similiar, someone must have got confused on the assembly line and stamped the two bases wrong. Even if Bandai caught the mistake, they would still send the bases out that way instead of scraping them all. Bandai is not going to waste that time and money.

I was curious to see if the 66 and 69 Godzilla's can interchange on the bases? But they don't.
